Après sa victoire sur Marat Safin, Tsonga est tombé face à un Ljubicic toujours dangereux sur terre battue.
Ljubicic a gagné à la “Sampras” 6/4 7/5
Dans son livre A champion’s Mind (Voir article ) , Pete sampras relate ce qu’Andre Agassi disait a propos de lui

” Andre would later say that one of the tricky things about playing me was that any opponent could play great against me and lose 6/4 7/5 or play terribly and lose 6/4 7/5″

Ljubicic n’est pas Sampras…mais toujours est-il que Jo a perdu plutôt de la première façon…

Il en faudra plus en tout cas pour faire de TSONGA un outsider à Roland Garros 2009…
